Textbook questions

5/20

Today we are working on questions in the text and then a powerpoint for the second half of class. We held a class tally on whether we should have our computers open or not. I voted computers because I would much rather type my textbook answers somewhere than write them down. I hate the length of small notebook paper and I would rather type them. The vote was 11 to 10 so it was very close. 1st half of class 1. Tests back

I got my test back and it was basically what I expected. The matching between the kings was the main action that was problematic for me but the rest of the test I did pretty well. After we answered all the questions and I corrected my test, we just worked on our blogs and any other work that we needed to finish. It was basically a little free mod since we had taken the test on the whole unit that w learned when Mr. Schick was out.

test

I think I did well on most of the matching on the test. Especially with the vocab and people on the first-second pages. The main thing that I didn't know were the rulers like Caligul and Claudius and Nero and Tiberius. I tend to mix up Caligual and Claudius so I know I probably did that on the small matching section on the test. Overall I could have been more prepared, there were parts that I was confident and parts I was not.

Class

The test was rescheduled and we had a day of review. We went over everything in the powerpoint and things that correlate to Mr. Schicks rap. I think if I study the powerpoint and review my blogs that I have been doing for the past 8 classes I will do well on the test. It's a large amount of information and it leads all the way up to Julius Caesar and the triumvirate* which is an important test question. The only thing I would be concerned about tis an essay question because those are usually decide when Mr. Schick is present and it's a topic that we discuss with him, so with his absence, it could be anything from the chapter.

Mr Schick is back

Today, we went over the powerpoint and did a worksheet. We reviewed Ancient Rome and the triumvirate, which is an important test question.
